each chakra is located in the exact same area as a major nerve plexus, & has an important endocrine gland associated with it.
they have physical characteristics, as well as psychological & spiritual characteristics — the unity of body, mind & spirit is possible through the chakras.
understanding that our thoughts, beliefs & experiences have an effect on our energy bodies can be an important source of information in developing our self awareness in order to live in alignment with our true nature & in supporting us in our healing journey.
